Flower delivery in Merklín from a Chotěšov florist
Merklín lies between Přeštice and Staňkov. The Merklínka stream flows through the town. The first written record of Merklín dates to 1356.
Merklín Castle is a four-winged, multi-storey building with an enclosed courtyard and a park. It was created around 1670 by rebuilding a fortress. The town has the Gothic Church of St Nicholas, remodelled in the Baroque style, and the Hus Chapel of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren, built in 1931. Near Merklín, the Merklín pond covers about 35 hectares, and a green hiking trail runs around it.
